A step towards the European Digital Single Market
The Euro has broken down national borders by simplifying the exchange of money in Europe. The next step is to put an end to the borders of the national value-added services that require a secure identification of the citizens who want to access them. It is time for digital identities recognized by European Governments to become our new common currency.
We Thrive at
The main payment, assistance and public services available in each country of the European Union should be made easily accessible to all citizens without any discrimination on the country to which they belong.
The digital identities issued by a Member State should be easily
recognized within each European State so as to enable a cross-border circularity of the
main value added services available.
Contributing to the construction of the European Digital Single Market
means contributing to the economic development of each Member State and strengthening
the identity culture of the European Union.
How we do it
The FICES project is based on strategic partnerships between Banks, Payment Service Providers, Certification Authorities, Insurance Companies and other relevant Stakeholders, with the aim of providing the European Citizens with the most complete service offer.
Citizens’ secure identification is an indispensable pre-condition for the provision of our services . That’s the reason why FICES operates within the eIDAS framework, with the aim of guaranteeing the highest standards of security and crossborder interoperability.
On the 11th of June 2019 has been held in Milan the national workshop "FICES, A STEP TOWARDS THE EUROPEAN DIGITAL SINGLE MARKET".
